Injection Moulding Machine for Toilet Brush and Holder Sets

Toilet brush and holder sets are moulded on horizontal injection moulding machines in PP, ABS or PS, with brush and holder made in separate tools. Holder depth sets tonnage and mould opening stroke. Drainage matters most in wet service, so the holder must not trap water, and the resin must not stress-crack under cleaning chemicals.

Machine selection for these sets follows the holder: its depth, opening stroke and ejection off a tall core. Pratishna Engineers supplies horizontal injection moulding machines for toilet brush handles and holders and can recommend a configuration for the full set.

Share your holder depth, brush design, material and volume, and Pratishna Engineers will recommend a machine for the set.

Machine Requirements for Toilet Brush and Holder Moulding

Each set has two jobs: a brush that holds its bristles and a holder that drains and stays clean. Points to check:

  • Opening stroke and daylight for the deep holder mould
  • Ejection that releases the holder off a tall core
  • Uniform holder wall from a centred, stable core
  • Drain features moulded clean with no water traps
  • Handle and head tuft holes held to size
  • Resin grade that resists cleaning chemical stress cracking

Recommended Machine for Toilet Brush and Holder Sets

Brush handles and heads are moderate mouldings that fit the E Series (75-180 T). The holder drives the machine choice: its depth needs a long opening stroke and its projected area more clamping force, so holder tools usually go on the H Series (120-350 T) or a C Series (140-320 T) machine.

FAQs / Buyer Questions

Buyer questions on moulding toilet brush handles, heads and holders.

  • Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used to Make Toilet Brush Sets?
Two machine sizes are often used. Brush handles and heads run on an E Series machine, while the holder, being deeper and wider, is matched to the H or C Series.
  • Why Is the Holder the Tonnage Driver in a Toilet Brush Set?
It is the largest and deepest piece. Its projected area sets the clamping force, and its depth needs a long opening stroke so the part can clear the core on ejection.
  • Which Resin Resists Toilet Cleaning Chemicals?
PP holds up well to the acid and bleach cleaners used in toilets. ABS and PS can stress-crack where moulded-in stress meets these chemicals, so they need low-stress moulding and a chemical soak test before approval.
  • How Is Water Kept from Collecting in the Holder?
Drain holes or a raised base insert let water run off the brush, and internal ribs should not form pockets. Draft and drain hole core pins are planned so the holder still ejects cleanly.
  • Can Pratishna Recommend a Machine for My Toilet Brush Set?
Yes. Share drawings or samples of the brush and holder, material, part weights, mould dimensions, cavities and monthly volume, and Pratishna Engineers will recommend a suitable machine.
  • Does the Machine Suit Other Bathroom Cleaning Parts Too?
Yes, mould allowing. Cleaning brushes, soap dishes and bathroom accessories, scrubber holders and small dustbins can run on comparable machines.
