Questions Injection Moulding Machine Buyers Ask Us

The answers our engineers give most often, before a specification is agreed.

Have a Component, Mould or Production Target?

Share your application details and let Pratishna recommend the right machine, configuration and production approach.

Request a Machine Recommendation

It depends on your component size, finished weight, plastic material, mould dimensions, number of cavities and required daily output. Horizontal machines suit high-volume general moulding; vertical machines suit insert moulding and overmoulding; PET machines are developed for preforms; two-platen machines accommodate larger moulds; and hybrid machines suit applications needing tighter shot control. Share your component drawing or sample, and our team will recommend the appropriate machine configuration.

Send your component drawing or sample, required shot weight, plastic material, expected daily/monthly output, and mould dimensions if already finalised. This lets our engineers match the correct clamping tonnage and configuration.

Yes. Share your mould drawing with tie-bar spacing, platen size and mould height, and our engineering team will confirm compatibility or suggest the closest matching machine.

Our machines process a wide range of thermoplastics including ABS, PP, PE, PVC, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Polysulphone, Delrin and PET, across standard and engineering-grade material families.

Tonnage is calculated from the projected area of the component multiplied by the material-specific clamping pressure. Shot capacity depends on part weight, runner weight and number of cavities. Our team performs this calculation for you from your drawing.

Yes. We build custom-engineered configurations for cap making, insert moulding, medical devices and other specialised applications, adjusting clamping force, injection unit and automation to the process.

Yes. Every machine ships with installation support and on-site operator training, backed by our national after-sales and AMC network.

Price depends on tonnage, control system, automation level, hydraulic vs. servo vs. hybrid configuration, and any custom tooling requirements — so we provide an accurate quotation only after understanding your application.
