Injection Moulding Machine for Purifier Faucets, Dispensing Taps and Levers
Purifier faucets, dispensing taps and levers are moulded on horizontal injection moulding machines from plating-grade ABS, POM and PP. Sizing depends on body length and projected area, side cores for the spout and outlet, and cavity count. The critical process point is a stress-free body without flow lines, so chrome plating takes evenly.
Machine choice for faucets balances a polished cosmetic body with the small POM stem and seat inside it. Pratishna Engineers supplies horizontal injection moulding machines for purifier taps and can advise on the machine for each body, lever and valve tool.

Machine Requirements for Purifier Faucet Moulding
A faucet is the branded face of a purifier and a wetted valve at the same time. Machine requirements to check:
- Low moulded-in stress on ABS bodies before chrome plating
- No flow lines or weld lines on the spout face
- Core pulls for the spout bore and outlet ports
- POM stem and seat held to size for steady lever feel
- Dried ABS and SAN to avoid splay on gloss parts
- Food-contact grades for every wetted passage
Recommended Machine for Purifier Faucets
Faucet bodies and levers are small to medium parts, and side cores add mould width, so the E Series (75-180 T) suits many tap tools. Larger tap bodies, family moulds or multi-cavity plating parts can call for a C Series (140-320 T) or, for the widest moulds, an H Series (120-350 T) machine. POM stems and seats often run on a separate, smaller E Series machine.

FAQs / Buyer Questions
Purifier and tap makers usually raise these questions first.
Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used to Make Purifier Faucets?
E Series horizontal machines cover many faucet bodies, levers and stems. Tools with several side cores, larger bodies or more cavities step up to the C or H Series to fit the mould and its slides. What Does a Chrome-Plated Faucet Need From Moulding?
Plating-grade ABS, a high-polish tool and gates away from the show face. Moulded-in stress from fast fill or a cold mould shows up as blisters or poor adhesion after plating. Why Are the Stem and Seat Made in POM?
POM holds its size, slides with low friction and resists wear, so the lever keeps its feel and the tap does not start to drip. Long residence time degrades POM, so the shot should suit the barrel.
What Changes for an Air-Gap Faucet?
An air-gap faucet carries extra ports and an air-gap opening, which some markets require by code. These add side cores to the body tool and can raise the mould size and tonnage needed. Can Pratishna Recommend a Machine for My Purifier Faucet?
Yes. Share the body, lever and stem drawings or samples, materials, plating needs, mould sizes, cavity counts and monthly volume, and Pratishna Engineers will recommend suitable machines.Does the Machine Suit Other Purifier Parts Too?
Yes. Machines of this size also mould purifier covers and panels, RO housings, cartridge end caps and storage tank fittings, with each mould checked for size and opening stroke.
