Injection Moulding Machine for Cable Clips
Cable clips are moulded on horizontal injection moulding machines using multi-cavity tools, from PA66, PA6, PP or PVC. Shot weight, more than clamp force, picks the machine because each clip is very small. Nail-in clips add an insert step, since the steel pin is moulded in or pressed in after moulding.
For cable clips, machine selection looks at accurate small shots, short cycles and cavity count against the barrel. Pratishna Engineers supplies horizontal injection moulding machines for cable clip production and can recommend a configuration for your clip range and output.

Machine Requirements for Cable Clip Moulding
Cable clips are tiny parts sold in large packs, so economics come from cavities and cycle. Points to check:
- Small screw diameter matched to a light total shot
- Pin pockets or holes that hold the steel nail straight
- FR grade for clips used in buildings or panels
- Drying of PA66 and PA6 before moulding
- Clean ejection of the clip arch without stress whitening
- Colour change between clip sizes with little purge waste
Recommended Machine for Cable Clips
Cable clips are among the smallest parts in a wiring range, so even high-cavity moulds stay light. The E Series (75-180 T) covers circle clips, flat clips and nail-in clips, with the screw and barrel chosen for the total shot. Nail-in versions with moulded-in pins need a mould review for insert loading.

FAQs / Buyer Questions
Questions clip makers ask before buying a machine.
Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used to Make Cable Clips?
E Series machines suit most clip moulds. Since each clip is small, the smaller E Series sizes with a suitable screw often cover high-cavity tools, and the size is confirmed from total shot weight. Are Nail-In Clips Insert Moulded?
Some are. A steel pin can be placed in the mould before each shot, or pushed into a moulded hole after moulding. Assembling later keeps the cycle shorter and the mould simpler. Can PVC and Nylon Clips Run on the Same Machine?
Only with care. PVC needs a PVC-suited screw and barrel, and it must be purged out fully before nylon goes in, because the two degrade badly if they meet hot in the barrel.
When Does a Cable Clip Need a Flame-Retardant Grade?
Clips specified into buildings, panels or appliances usually need an FR grade. Indoor general-use clips may use standard PP or nylon, depending on the buyer specification. Can Pratishna Recommend a Machine for My Cable Clip?
Yes. Share clip sizes or samples, grade, pin type, part weight, mould size, cavity count and monthly volume, and Pratishna Engineers will recommend a suitable machine.Does the Machine Suit Other Cable Fixing Parts Too?
Yes, subject to the mould. E Series machines also run cable ties, cable accessories such as grommets and junction connectors, and fan regulator and switch knobs.
